Midlife, in real life

It's not all in your head. And it's not all one hormone.

Midlife can affect energy, body composition, glucose response, cardiovascular risk, bone strength and physical capacity. Some of the changes you notice can also have other causes.

HealthyAt100 helps you replace guesswork with a joined-up, doctor-led view of where you are now.

One body. One connected picture.

Five areas worth seeing together.

Numbers become useful when someone understands the story behind them. Your doctor brings clinical markers, physical capability and your own experience into one conversation.

01

Metabolism

Energy, glucose and body composition

Changes in glucose response, muscle and visceral fat can happen quietly. We bring the relevant measurements together so they can be understood in context.

HbA1c · C-peptide · glucose patterns · body composition

02

Heart

A clearer cardiovascular picture

Midlife is a useful moment to look more closely at blood pressure, cholesterol-related markers and inherited risk—not just a single headline number.

Blood pressure · ApoB · Lp(a) · lipid profile

03

Strength

Capacity for the life you want

Fitness, strength, balance and mobility help show how well the body can meet the demands of today and the years ahead.

Fitness · strength · mobility · balance

04

Bones

An important part of healthy ageing

Falling oestrogen can affect bone health. Your consultation helps establish whether further bone assessment would be useful.

Risk review · next-step guidance · further assessment if indicated

05

Bloods

More context for how you feel

Tiredness, poor concentration and reduced exercise tolerance are not always explained by hormones alone. Blood testing helps widen the picture.

Ferritin · vitamin D · thyroid · inflammation · kidney and liver

The important bit

Your results are explained by a doctor—not left as a portal full of numbers.

Clinical interpretation

Data is only useful when it makes sense to you.

We look at your history, concerns, test results and physical assessment together. You leave knowing what looks reassuring, what deserves attention and what to do next.

Women's health blood profile

More than one number. More than one explanation.

The women's profile looks across cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal and nutritional markers. Your doctor then considers the pattern—not isolated results.

The markers shown reflect the expanded women's profile. Exact testing is confirmed by the doctor for clinical suitability.

Questions, answered

Before you begin.

Is this different from the standard Foundations programme?+

Yes. It includes the full Foundations health and fitness baseline, with an expanded women’s blood profile, an additional 30 minutes of GP time for menopause and HRT discussion, and Bindex bone-density screening.

Is this only for women with menopause symptoms?+

No. You may have symptoms, feel generally well, or simply want a clearer health baseline for the years ahead. The emphasis is on your individual picture rather than a checklist.

Will someone actually explain the results?+

Yes. Clinical interpretation is central to the programme. Your results are reviewed with a doctor, in the context of your history, priorities and wider health.

Is bone scanning included?+

Yes. The programme includes a Bindex screening scan: a quick, radiation-free ultrasound assessment used to screen bone health. Your doctor will explain the result and whether a formal DEXA scan or another next step should be considered.

Can I discuss HRT?+

Yes. The programme includes an additional 30 minutes of GP time specifically for menopausal concerns and HRT discussion. Any advice or treatment remains individual and subject to clinical suitability.
